Chemical peeling
It is a process whereby a chemical solution is applied to the surface of the skin to peel away the top cell layers which will be replaced during the healing process with a fresh , new skin surface. New techniques and technologies in chemical peeling offer safe and effective ways to improve the texture of skin. Some uperficial blemish marks can also be removed by chemical peeling.

Lunch time peeling
This name is derived by absence of downtime during the procedures. It also called glycolic acid peeling. The lunchtime peel causes an exfoliation of the outer, dead layers of the skin. The younger skin call emerge beneath, thereby promoting more even skin tones, and complexions. The effects are gradual, usually requiring a series of peels.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a new approach to skin resurfacing that stimulates the production of new collagen. It is a non-surgical treatment that does not require an anesthetic.

Facials for acne and melasma
Our practice includes the most up-to-date program for acne skin care. All this procedures are performed by physicians, nurses and trained medical estheticians. The superficial chemical peel or microdermabrasion are also performed by physicians.

Vit-C iontophoresis
It is a sort of electric and chemical treatment that let ionized
L-ascorbic acid salts(Vitamin-C) penetrate deep into the skin.
Vitamin-C acts as an antioxidant, so it can diminish blemished areas and provide skin whitening.

Non-surgical skin tightening
Starlux is not only a model of IPL system, but also a multi functional skin rejuvenation system.
We¡¯ve been used Palomar Medilux that is a previous model of Starlux more than 3 years. Recently we've renovated it to Satrlux (new generation model). Due to the cooling effect and single pulse mode, the pain is very much decreased compare to other models of IPL. And, there is another reason that we decided to buy Starlux, that is because Starlux can attach IR(Infrared) handpiece. This new handpiece is designed for skin tightening and lifting without discomfort. It enables facial lifting without scar. Actually, Starlux IR handpiece can not make same effect like operation, but we can expect quite impressive result.

The new Palomar StarLux¢â Pulsed Light System is emerging as a photofacial system with power that surpasses many cosmetic lasers, according to users. Palomar¡¯s unique RejuveLux¢â process, one of several applications possible with the StarLux, consists of the treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions on the face, chest, arms and other large areas ? with a resulting improvement of skin tone and texture. ¡°In my practice, the StarLux system has been fast, effective, versatile and user-friendly,¡± said R. Rox
Anderson, M.D. of Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Mass. ¡°I¡¯m impressed with how far filtered xenon flashlamps have come, since their humble beginningsover a decade ago for skin treatment. StarLux is now my favorite way to treat facial telangiectasia and rosacea without causing purpura. The combination of integrated skin cooling, high pulse energy, tunable pulse duration without splitting up the pulse, speed, and a wide range of handpieces tailored for specific indications makes this device very useful. It has apparently no major glitches.¡±
¡°The StarLux is the next generation in photofacial technology,¡± reported Robert A. Weiss, M.D., assistant professor of dermatology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. ¡°The LuxG handpiece is optimized to target oxyhemoglobin, epidermal pigment and water, which produces desirable results for my patients seeking photorejuvenation.¡± Immediately after RejuveLux treatment, there is a slight darkening of the unwanted pigment (lentigines, actinic bronzing, etc.). Within two to three minutes,
there is usually mild to moderate erythema around the individual pigmented lesions, and within two to three days, there is usually a mild desquamation of the unwanted pigment. Vessels generally undergo blanching and then either fully or partially resolve in about 10 - 14 days. Areas of diffuse flushing or erythema gradually fade, leaving skin with a normal appearance.
StarLux is able to deliver high energy to the target pigment and oxyhemoglobin due to its active contact cooling feature, which chills the handpiece¡¯s sapphire tip to as low as 4¡ÆC. The skin is cooled throughout treatment, permitting the operator to deliver high-energy pulses while providing maximum comfort and safety to the patient. ¡°The active cooling provides good epidermal protection and patient comfort during treatments,¡± added Dr. Weiss. ¡°Also, having the ability to vary the pulsewidth and fluence independently creates the opportunity to treat with a wide variety of parameters, including longer pulsewidths. This ultimately means more flexibility in addressing the patient¡¯s needs and optimizing the results.¡±
Another high energy and safety feature is the StarLux¡¯s Smooth Pulse Technology. StarLux delivers light over one smooth pulse duration, rather than the multiple power spikes (which may damage skin) that other technologies use. This keeps the epidermal temperature lower, permitting safe delivery of greater amounts of energy, which are more effectively absorbed by pigment and blood, producing greater efficacy compared to other technologies.

We can attach on Starlux a variety of application-specific handpieces to one compact base unit, allowing expand treatment repertoire. Palomar systems deliver pulsed light over one smooth pulse duration, rather than the multiple power spikes (which may damage skin) that other technologies use. This smooth pulse technology keeps the epidermal temperature lower, for far more comfortable treatments. It also allows for the safe delivery of greater amounts of energy, which is more effectively absorbed by pigment and blood, producing greater efficacy.

In most light-based treatments, up to 60% of light is reflected back off the skin surface, and not delivered to the treatment target. But Palomar¡¯s patented Photon Recycling process uses mirrors within the handpiece to recapture this scattered light and send it back to the treatment area for a more efficient delivery of energy.

The Palomar Lux handpieces are designed to filter light in the optimal bands of the spectrum for specific treatments. For example, the LuxRs¢â filters light to provide the ideal spectrum for permanent hair reduction on all skin types. The LuxG¢â filters light to provide the ideal spectrum for vascular lesions and epidermal pigment. This allows you to choose the best handpiece for the treatments you seek to deliver.
